Ok that says it will fit. But ... how do you get it in there? Lay the trailer on its side?

I think the sides of that trailer are just tarps. I’ve seen a few delivery trucks like that. It looks like it has latches at the bottom.

Still, I claim it's being hauled wrong. Imagine the center of mass on that trailer... and gods help everyone on that highway if it's one of the drivers I've seen on youtube at the wheel!

It's just a hunk of metal.
Lay it over on it's tracks & it becomes a wide load & much more dangerous to the public.

A typical semi trailer itself is what 7 tons? With a max load of something like 20-30 tons? Assuming I have any clue what I'm guessing at & European rating are near US, weight wise that doesn't actually look to bad. Balance wise hanging out the back its horrible. And of course it looks wrong. But ya, they ship heavy equipment partially disassembled like that in containers.

An empty curtainsider weighs about 6.4 ton. A 4x2 truck weighs 7.5 to 8 ton, and the max weight across Europe (the German max) is 44 ton. That leaves 29 to 30 ton load capacity. Technical axlecapacity is standard 3x 9 ton trailer acles, 11.5 ton drive axle and 7.5 on the steering axle, which is 19+27 is 46 ton allowed in other European countries. A truck with a tag axle can haul the max weight of 50 ton in Holland, though its of no use in international transport.

When you see a dump truck heading down the highway in Russia, with the bed partly up, for balance, missing a front wheel, you start to understand, that things are different there. Not all bad, either in my opinion.

Kind of neat. Never thought I would see a Toyota LC or similar Jeep style hauling logs like that. Jon
