Not sure about that particular case. The license plate looks to be Russian. We all know that them Ruskys can do whatever they please.![]()
On the other hand, construction machine dealers here, will ship big excavators that way to South Africa quite often. They take the cab off, arms off, undercarriage off and just put the thing sideways on the shipping container.
Not my picture... I assume it's got to be faked somehow.

Ok that says it will fit. But ... how do you get it in there? Lay the trailer on its side?

Looking at the hatches on the back you can tell it's an armored personel carrier as opposed to a tank. License plate is definitely European, no clue if its Russian or not. A Russian BMP-2 is a 15 ton machine, the BMP-1 around 13. There were over 20k of the -1 & lots of the -2, so it's a reasonable assumption that's what it is not actually being familiar with what any given APC looks like. They are probably in a similar weight class too regardless of Russian, NATO or whatever origin.
A typical semi trailer itself is what 7 tons? With a max load of something like 20-30 tons? Assuming I have any clue what I'm guessing at & European rating are near US, weight wise that doesn't actually look to bad. Balance wise hanging out the back its horrible. And of course it looks wrong. But ya, they ship heavy equipment partially disassembled like that in containers.
