Since an outside company manages our server on the rack, we don't control the hardware... if we want to upgrade it, they do it there and then we pay more per month based on that. Thanks for the offer, though!

Does your Web Hosting vendor offer colocation? You may want to consider that. You own your server but they provide operational services. Don't know the actual cost differential, but might be a consideration.

I've always been amazed that you can run something like TBN on equipment similiar to what many of us have at home. It just shows that most of us don't even use a small percentage of our machine's capabilities, and the need to "upgrade" is more a marketing ploy than reality.

Part of it, too, is that Linux, the OS the TBN server is running, takes about 1/3 the machine Windows Whatever does, so that leaves a lot more machine to do cool stuff, like let us talk about tractors...
