Some of the herd tries to eat out of the buckets while I am carrying them prior to pouring them out.
Uh oh could there be a future pet problem?

Might as well be enthusiastic as overhead this close to the house would be butt ugly. Once I learned to pull the wire before gluing the conduit it got easy! Besides 6-3 with ground isn't THAT tough to work with.

Regarding the trick with the glued up conduit:
The electrical supply houses sell a little piece of fluff with a leader on it. You tie on your own light string and use a small vacuum cleaner to suck it from where you put it into the conduit to where you want the wire to exit. There is no conflict between a tight fit of the vacuum nozzle and the string when you use it to suck instead of blow. Pat
Humor intended? and taken as humor 'cause I can't picture the rock tossing.
Yes Pat I was attempting to be humorous. I got to remember to include my disclaimer more often. Trust me if my wife seen all that you have gotten finished on your house since we were there and compared it to what I have gotten done at mine she would have unfavorable performance reviews of what I have accomplished.
I am very impressed you are getting a lot done. I cant wait to see it with all the improvements you have made.
I believe all of pats cows have names. Not names like B1762 or anything but actual names.Uh oh could there be a future pet problem?![]()

Now if those cattle feeding stations incorporated cattle critter thread mill driven generator that generator project could be put on hold!![]()
Yes the 35x70x18 (wall) red metal bld that was up by the highway is now 200 ft east of my 3 car garage. I took pix and unless I am having a big relapse/episode of CRS I posted pix.
Now then was that here or on CBN??? Hmmm...
Pat

The first of the links above takes you to the right thread. First pix are of bracing, second is pad and third set (a few posts down thread) show building while being moved. I have more pix not posted but they are essentially redundant and don't show much else.

Thank you pat. Nice job of getting it moved. I am looking forward to my next visit. I am not doing any arbitrations next month but January is going to be busy. I have to defend a guy that called in sick and went fishing. He got caught and they fired him for it. I have to defend a guy that was accused of stealing gas and was fired for that. and I have some contract issues over some letters of demand. If I can sneak some free time we might try to come up.
I sure hope you get a chance to come over.
I can easily see how in some circumstances you could be too sick to perform your standard job or be contagious and have all the folks at your work place in your debt for not bringing it to work BUT be perfectly fine to go fishing. Not saying this was the case, just that I can see how that could reasonably happen.
Now then, regarding the gas thief. If they have him cold and there is no doubt I'd hope he was terminated and criminal charges filed as well as suing for the value of the fuel and lost service due to its loss.
If the gas was missed and he had opportunity (in theft motive is typically assumed) but there is no real evidence then I'd be hesitant to be too hasty dumping on him. Maybe he'd agree to be on probation for 6 mo to a year and with no further problems just get on with business but any unexcused or inexcusable deviation from the rules and BYE BYE.
We will be here except for a day or so either side of and Christmas day itself. So either before Christmas or between Christmas and New Years is fine with me. I have taught myself to shoot pool passably left handed and need a vict... uh er ah a competitor to try it out on.
Monday (tomorrow) the electric Co-op is supposed to put the meter back that was pulled to kill power for the bld move. I have the new wires in conduit and backfilled the trench as well as have the well and convenience outlets wired up again. I still have no branch circuits (output) from the sub panel in the hay barn but at least I can run the well to supply water to the 250 gal Tupperware water trough's automatic valve. I bought a thermostatically controlled submerged heater for the trough too. Luckily we haven't had any hard freezes as there is no power of course to the heater tapes distributed on the plumbing inside the well house. I think I should add another strip to heat the line feeding the auto-valve on the trough.
Tractor has never had a problem starting but once and I touched the hydrostat pedal and that fixed it. I am gaining confidence that it was just a pedal position issue and otherwise all is well.
Pat
Right now I have all my christmas shopping done for everyone but my wife and will have most of her presents bought tomorrow. I like having it done before december. Sure beats haveing to stand in line.
