securing a TC 18

I don't like where I've chained my TC18 to the trailer. The back of the tractor leaves little choices to wrap a chain around. I've been using the mounting bracket where the fenders and "frame" mount to the rear axle but the tractor is so narrow it interfers with the PTO cover. I was thinking of straps to go through the rear wheels like this: CustomTieDowns.com - Axle Straps
Think they'd work?

I use them but for a tractor what I would do is add some chain hook to the tractor. I have added them to my tractor but don't have a pic. Simply replaced some bolts with longer ones and bolted to them with a short piece of chain.

How about replacing a bolt with an eye bolt and using a shackle?

Put a shackle on the drawbar or the largest possible lynch pin in from the top, run the chain behind it.

I put a 7/8" D ring in the hole in my draw bar and run the chain through it.

i like to go from the rear axles to the back and then thr front axles forward.. ie.. 4 straps .. 1 on each corner, plus 1 for each implement, plus 1 for a loader if any.. must meed 1+1/10' too, if you are looking for dot.. etc.

I'll try and get some pictures up of the back of it and what I'm currently doing. It doesn't leave very often but I'd like to make sure when it does it's secure.

Here's what I did to the front. I figured what Diamondpilot suggested would work. I couldn't find an answer on how strong shackles were. Here's a shot of both sides. I used grade 70 hooks and chain
