seat safety switch

How do I disable or bypass the seat safety switch on a grand l3240. I need to stand from time to time to see the bucket edge or fork tines and can't do it with the safety switch. I understand the safety side and I'm fine with it moat of the time. I just wanna get it bypassed before winter. Thanks guys.

Take a look at this old thread. In post#4 I mention a toggle switch that I mounted to allow me to have the seat swith enabled or disabled ... Take care.

Mate, at the bottom of this page are "Similar Threads" with all of the arguements 'for and against', plus various ways of going about it (to answer your question).

For what it's worth, I'm firmly in the 'against' camp.

Once it's gone, I hope you'll never need it in the future.
