There is a company, Sailrite, which manufactures and sells quality marine upholstery products.

They have a series of instructional videos on YouTube. The most recent is on repairing your fishing boat seat, which would probably work for redoing a tractor seat.

Since 2018, tractor seat materials no longer have UV blocking additives. So the seats today will decay rather quickly. And the price has jumped 4X since 2018.

Since I did fish and own a boat at one time, I knew the marine seats will have the UV blocking additive.
I now have a WISE seat on my tractor. Got it for a mere $15 on closeout.

The vinyl seat on my B7200 had a "well weathered" corner on the seat back. Open and raw!

I did a bang up job with needle and thread just trying to bring the material back together where possible and span the gaps where it was not.

Then I slathered the entire patch with black 3M weather striping adhesive.
(I had an old tube that needed using up)

It's not particularly pretty, but it is water proof. And that was over five years ago......

I call it GOOD! And will do it again on another repair if needed. ;-)

When the seat covering cracked on my tractor, I just covered it with one of these seat covers. The large size fit my tractor seat perfectly. I've only had it 2 years, but it's holding up well so far.

I was welding overhead and dropped a gob on my seat, Repaired it with several coats of black liquid tape from HomeDepot. It's been several years and it still looks like this.
