I was looking at buying a 2450 and was wondering how hard it is to remove the backhoe. I have watched all of the videos online for the bx25 but cannot find anything on the 2450.

Thanks guys, Do you have to leave it extended or can you store it in the "up" position?

Hey, Not sure if you are still looking for an answer on this or not.
I am a new owner, 15 hr on the 2450.
I have removed the BH twice and installed it to test out the way I want to take it off for storage and found both way acceptable.
Fully extended appears to be a little easier and keeps all of the rams inside of the cylinders so If the room is available or outside under tarp the extended method might be best.
If storage is inside, it wasn’t any more difficult to get the BH off curled up, not all the way though. You will need to lower the boom some but if indoor storage it will work OK.
I hope this helps some.
