sc2450 - highly recommended

Anyone interested in SC2450 I cannot recomed it highly enough.

As part of building new house we cut out 4000 yards off the top of a 45 ft hill and put garage under to decrease slope of driveway and create an acre of usable land in the back 1/2 of property. Needless to say I have some terrain to deal with, couple hundred yards of landscaping to finish as well as snow to plowing. I have about 90 hard hours on it and it has not skipped a beat. Really well build machine.

I have to agree.
My 2400 does a ton of work, far more than I ever thought it could.
And I use it! I'm not just mowing a couple acres and dragging some mulch around.
Grading and maintaining/plowing a 1/4 mile.
Skidding pole wood.
Moving all types of material.
Digging and leveling ground (no back hoe)
It takes longer than larger machines, but it will get the job done.
4 1/2 yrs old, 560 hours, and knock on wood going strong.

It's a shame IMO yanmar hasn't had better luck breaking into the market.
For the most part people aren't aware of them, and those that are, are skeptical because of the previous cub relationship.

I am very happy with the performance of my 2450.

Like GC said it may take a little longer than a bigger unit but, it is like "The Little Tractor that Could".
