Well it's hard to argue with VinceSMTA that's owned both machines.
But I would strongly agree with Jsharp, and call another dealer with the VIN or Cub directly (or even on their website) to double check on the warranty. If the label is missing (typically on the right side forward main frame) then you might be out of luck.
I just bought a 5234D for my lighter yard work, with mower and blower. I've previously owned a 2004 5234D, and never had any issues with it, and did some pretty heavy loader work.....but limited amount of hours.
For your application, I'd say you're on the fence, and probably better off with a compact versus sub-compact. The 5264 could do it, but it sounds like you'd be working it fairly hard. And one big deciding factor, the compacts would handle the cat 1 implements much easier.
