Kioti LK3054XS
Buttercup is my new LK3054XS. Here you see her at Upper Valley Tractor in Enfield New Hampshire. I expect KiotiDave to deliver her to her new home some time in the next week to ten days.

Buttercup has the KL1320 FEL with a 54" toothbar equipped bucket. She's going to have a remote hydraulic kit installed so she can power the log splitter she'll have on her 3PH. To help move logs, she also has a locally made frame that attaches to the 3PH and provides a handy way to chain the logs on.

Pretty soon, she'll be busy moving rocks on my property and helping me collect firewood for next winter.

I'll post some more pictures of her in action once I've had a chance to take them.

The PHD isn't part of the package, she was just holding it up to help KiotiDave display it on the lot.

S W E E T!!! And all the Angels in heaven rejoice at the purchase of another LK3054XS. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif Sorry, I tend to get excited when another brother is added to the family.

By the way, what is Dave going to use to keep the concrete from flying away when he delivers the XS? I noticed the loader is keeping them in place. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Very nice, will you tell your friends at home what you named it though? If you want to give it a female name how about "Ball Breaker Bertha". /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif Killer machine!! /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

You're gonna love it! I'm more impressed with mine every time I use it. No frills, it's all buisness & really can get the job done. Have fun!

Actually, the homelier and more utilitarian the machine, the sweeter the name should be. Such as the septic sucker truck named "Petunia". Or the 1,000 horsepower high pressure steam boiler named "Mary". /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

And in any case, her seat is too well molded and padded for that monicker to apply. I hope. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

As for the concrete blocks blowing away in the breeze... I guess he'll just have to order more tractors. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

The sooner you get it dirty the better.

As I am on a 30HP machine quest, what made you go with the 3054 versus the CK30?

Congratulations on that new tractor !
My wife wants to name mine , but so far I've been able to avoid it . Next time she brings it up I'll tell her to stop by on this forum for suggested names . As it's a Kubota , I'm sure names like "dinner " ,"snack " , "Kioti Meat " ," Kubottles and bits" ,etc will cure her of asking me again /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif But , That aside , enjoy that new machine . I know you'll love working it it . John

1. A proven design.

2. I'm sure that when the CK30s hit the dealers, they will cost more than the LK3054XSs.

3. I like the 3054's stunning good looks and cozy driver's station. (cockpit? control center? operator's platform? driver's seat? flight deck? helm?) /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

4. The dealer had two 3054s on the lot and no CK30s.

5. By the time he gets a CK30, the 0% financing may be history and steel prices may have raised the base price of all the machines, so I didn't want to wait until next month.

6. Because I wanted to. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Why do you want to upgrade from your CK20? They are very nice and seem to have many fans.

You're right. It was already sold. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

It's a CK20TLB manual shift.

I want to upgrade because, though I do enjoy my seat time, I felt like I would not mind getting bigger implements so I could do whatever it was a bit faster. If I can get the work done faster, it is less wear and tear on the equipment and I would have some more time to do a few other things.

Congratulations Spiny. I'm happy for you finally getting your Kioti. I know you've worked hard to decide, and I think you made a great choice. Since I recently got a chance to try one of the 3054XS out, I found it to be a really nice tractor. I may add one to my den later (or maybe the CK30), but for now, I'm still killing all my jobs with the CK20. Good luck and ENJOY! John

Dave is having trouble getting some parts for the rear hydraulic kit from Kioti, so he hasn't been able to deliver the tractor yet. I've noticed many posts here lately from people frutrated by Kioti's computer problems and the delivery delays they seem to be causing.

So, no tractoring for me this weekend. Just as well as I have a lot of indoor painting to do anyway... /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Yeah, I liked working with Dave a lot better than with the other Kioti dealer much closer to Concord where I live.
