Satelite TV and multiple connections

How do you hook in several receivers to a dish when the dish only has 2 hookups? I have an old TiVo that was given to me that has a new Direct TV card I purchased. I would like to bring the two satelite dish connections to it for simaltaneous recording and viewing and also hook up a second receiver. Is it a multi-switch I need? Thanks in advance, Rat.

We have a 7 room system. You would need a switch box that the connections from the Dish go to and disperse to numerous tv's from there. When we built our house we wired it that way.

You need a multi-switch. You can get additional hookup information from the TIVO Community forums. These are some of the most active forums on the internet.

Thanks Mad, thats what I needed, (the info, not another place to spend time posting/reading). Amazing that you could have a place like that on the web and get enough interest to keep it going and yet, wow, they obviously do...
