I have a John Deere L110 Lawn Tractor. I'm not getting fire to the spark plug. I suspect one of the safety switches (seat, clutch or blade engage). There are 4 wires to the seat switch. How can I test this switch (or others) to see if it is the problem?

First most mowers do not require the seat switch when starting.as you can start them by pushing the brake/clutch pedal while next to the machine. usually it's the Blade or brake/clutch switch that prevents starting. Lookat those switches first.Move a lever and carefully listen for a click.They get out of adjustment or their levers get bent or if your prone to washing the machines they can get loaded with water.

There is a switch on the seat, which prevents starting, as I have encountered on most lawn tractors.
