Sure, there is some crossover there, but I have yet to see a Cabela's store located in a rural community.

What do you consider rural? You might just check out the "current" corporate headquarters location which includes the retail store. But yes, most are along the interstate in heavy populated areas. Sidney is right by the interstate too.

In general, you are correct, it is not the same thing in comparison but if Cabelas cant make it go, I dont know how well Rural King will do. Hope they swing it as I'd like to see some Rural Kings out this way.

So's the Lowes, Cracker Barrel, Red Robbin, Wendy's, Taco Bell, Duncan Donuts, Auto Zone, Pizza Hut, Long John Silvers, Toyota Dealership, McDonald's, Logan's, Dollar Tree, Pet Supplies Plus, Five Guys, Verizon Store, The Wyndam Hotel, Burger King and Walmart that are all within 1/2 mile of it.... those sticks folks have it pretty cushy, if you ask me....

Yep, cabelas draws a lot of other business. Closest large town to Hamburg is an hour away. Even the one in wheeling wv is not in a large population area, but about an hr from Pittsburgh. There was nothing next to the wheeling store when it went in, now it's loaded with stores around.

All that stuff is planned development. It happens around here, too.

We used to drive over to a town called Merrillville, IN to go shopping. Last year, about 25 miles outside of that town, there was a huge shopping center that wasn't there the year before. Same stores. Only 25 miles apart. Can't see where all the people come to support the shopping, but they do.

Problem I had with Cabelas was not wanting to come off the price, compared to the TYM dealer they were way out of range, also the Woods FEL didn't seem up to par with OEM.
Just looked at the Article Link and wow 26,799 for the 55hp HST Cab with 8yr, 3000 hr. powertrain warranty, it didn't mention if it came with the FEL, but it's still a bargain.

Cool, I didn't see that price sheet, for another 1000bucks for HST, that is still better than anything else I've seen out there.
