rtv recall

i noticed that there have been some some questions about the validity of the recall on my rtv 1100. i spoke to the dealership to get the details this morning.was told that it was called a mandatory parking brake campaign that was serial number specific concerning some bolts and linkage issues. i am fortunate enough to have a dealership that looks out for its customers after the sale. i was advised by them to bring the unit in for the neccessary adjustments.

What was the issue. Brake not working or staying on after being released?

i never noticed any problem with the parking brake.dealership contacted me and asked me to bring unit in for parking brake fix.

Is this only for the 1100's, just thinking if they had any problems with the new 900's ?

i don't know for sure. not all 1100's were affected.only certain serial numbers. luckily i bought mine from one of the better dealerships that took the time to contact their customers that needed the fix. i want a fair price but to me it's more about customer service.
