Is $10,400.00 plus tax a good price for the WS model? I'm suprised that is only a little over a thousand dollars more than a Rhino. I'm sure the Rhino is fun but the difference in construction between the two is striking. Thanks!

Welcome to the forum and yes I believe that is a good price for a new one this year. Just for comparison, I paid $10,700 for a new one last year. That price included a spray-in liner, very small glove box, and tiny front storage compartment. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

You'll love it!

P.s.
If you are undecided between the RTV and the Rhino take a look at past posts in this forum. They both are quite different machines and have major pluses depending on your application.

Thanks for the welcome. I had a 4x4 Mule for about six years,so I'm looking at the work aspect. Is the RTV farily quiet?

TForan, welcome to TBN. I paid $10,395.00 last August for WS with a bed liner. $10,400.00 Doesn't sound bad to me with all of the steel and fuel price increases. It's a good machine. Just make sure that you work with a dealer that you can trust!

Quiet is a relative term. I also had a 4-stroke Mule before I bought my RTV and I would say that the RTV is about 1/3 noisier then the Mule. It's really not too bad though, unless of coarse you want to sneak to your favorite hunting spot unnoticed /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

My 2 dealers want around $11,600 for a RTV worksite model.

They WILL NOT negitiate.

yooperdave, I'll sell you my 40 hour WS RTV with a spray in liner and drop in liner both for a lot less than that (with all the first year bugs worked out), and then go buy me another new one locally. Ready?! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

When it comes to hunting, some noise is not noise..... My old Mule use to squeak and make gas engine noise that the game hated. The RTV and it's diesel clatter sounds more like tractors that game seems to get use to, and they just stand there and let you drive by more often than not.

$10.4 sounds good to me .... list shows as 11.9, IIRC and we had 3 quotes here ... 10.3, 10.5 and LIST (would you believe).

I'm thinking I'll see of the 10.5 will come down $100 and we have a deal ... I bought my L3710 from him and was happy with his deal and service.

At a $1.38 per mile to deliver, the trip from MS to WI would eat up any savings. I would buy that unit in a heartbeat if it were anywhere near me.

My dealers around here feel if I do not pay retail, then someone else will. My money does not have any influence with my dealers.

Since my local dealer is selling new at that price .... I looked at the listing and immediately passed ....

the two closest dealers offered the WS '05 model (more expensive tires & hydraulic lift) for $10.3 and $10.5 respectively.
Dealer a few miles further wanted full list for some reason ... but then he's got a batch of '04 sitting around he needs to pay off ....
