Row builder / Hiller

I have been thinking about a builder / hiller and ran across this little disc for 25 bucks, thought it would make a good start. I am planning on using the three blade gangs on a tool bar sort of like the ones that Steven's Tractor sells, but with a few other mods. Thinking of a removable press wheel and maybe a tooth behind the press wheel for making a seed trench. Just wondered everyone's thoughts, is a three blade design to much for bed making and better for hilling after the plants are up?

I've seen others with three... sounds like a good project :thumbsup: And for $25 I don't think you can go wrong...

Well I finally got around to taking the disc apart and looks like it may work out pretty well. I may be able to use the mounting brackets that are on the blades now, they are already slotted for tilt and swivel, just not sure how much tilt I may ever need in the gangs.

Was able to get a couple of pics of the gangs after disassembly.
Hope to get started on a frame soon.
