Rounded off drain plug

Kando will get it done. He simply has other life priorities. He just has more patience than most of us, and a better sense of humor than some of us,

Now lets not go questioning Kandos motives, no more than we would want to question the motives of a chicken crossing the road. If a chicken sees something on the other side of the road that attracts it, the chicken may decide to cross the road and get to the other side. If Kando reads a worthy method of removing the plug, he may decide to remove it and drain the fluid. This is serious business.

Exactly.

I wasn't questioning Kando's motives - quite the opposite. In fact, I respect him more than the Fun Police.

I know, I was just having some fun while we wait for July 4th. Trouble is the 4th is on a Thursday, does Kando have Friday off if he needs the extra time?

SUGGESTION FOR KANDO

It needs to expire.
Yes you are right it does...even making fun of the goofs has gotten tiring...
A suggestion for Kando is to just start a new thread when you've successfully replaced the plug...

Me... I'd remove that bar that's in the way.
Grind the old plug even with plate. Center punch it. Drill stepping up in size. After draining I may try drill, tapping it same size...but probably next size larger.
This may have been suggested before.

Looks like we are starting to get a consensus on the fix. Chime in; I'm #2.

I have owned a similar tractor with the same problem and got it out with a pipe wrench. It wasn't that hard.
Assuming the plug isn't all ground down, I think a pipe wrench is the easiest and quickest answer. He just needs someone that has been there and done that for help. Without help, this could end badly.
