Rotary cutter blade bar ??

I have a older blade bar off a Sidewinder 6 foot cutter; I have the bar off to replace the lower seal on the gearbox. The bar is bent upward about a inch on both ends, appears it is bent about 1" away from the center hub. Has anyone ever straightened one with any luck? I was thinking about heating it a bit then putting it in our large press and see what happens.
