Kioti CK25
Well, after 15 hours with my CK25, I love everything..... with the exception of the height of the roll bar. I never thought of it when I got it. My old tractor fits nicely into my garage which I had extra high doors put on. The Kioti is about 6" too tall to get in. The killer is that if I fold the ROPS, the tractor actually gets taller because the factory sun canopy sticks up so far. There is no way to get it into the garage unless I remove the sun shade which I don't want to do and is a major pain to take off. So heres the question. Has anyone had their ROPS shortened? I'm thinking of having a welding shop with certified welders shorten it. I don't trust myself to do it when my life may depend on it someday.

Any thoughts on the subject?

It could be done safely, a sleeve inside would be the best way, but a properly beveled weld should be plenty strong. Now as far as liability is concerned, you might be on your own.
