Grading Rollover Box Blade for JD4310

What is the widest rollover box that a JD4310 can pull? I need something heavy that will break up hard clay, but I would like to pull this at least 6" deep. I can get a used 60", but would like the 72", even though I don't know if I can handle it cutting that deep.

Hard clay, six inches deep? 72" blade on a dozer might have trouble with that depth in clay - at least in the red clay we have around here. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
I know, not much help, but it will be a variable depending on a lot conditions. I suspect the 4310 would have some struggle doing what you are asking. But, my 4300 does surprise me on how much it can handle.

Again this isn't a direct answer, but my dealer has suggested 72" implements to me for certain jobs - I'm going to rent a Hydraulic rake soon, and it will be a 72". I'll certainly post how good/bad the job goes. It will be a 1st for me, so I expect my "learning curve" to be a bit challenged. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
