I purchased a Nortec Pirahnna 6' PTO rock rake. It is a " Biscayne " model without the ability to angle the drum. Anyone have a quick and easy plan to convert this to a hydraulic cylinder turning mechanism ? I have no idea why they even considered this stationary option as the whole idea of the rake is to roll the unwanted debris to one side. Surprised they didn't do away with the two rear swival wheels. They probably saved forty dollars in iron.

All the engineers must have stepped out for lunch. I looked at pictures of the Harley rake and they simply use a short section of dom tubing and a pin coupled with a small hydraulic ram. I hope the patent police don't stop at my shop. They may view a whole list of concepts or as some refer to " stolen ideas ". If my Lincoln MIG can weld it and the Ellis band saw cut it, the metal process is an open door. ( Has the patent on the wheel run out yet ????? )
