Road Maintenance

I'm working with a 5600 Toolcat and have 1/2 mile of dirt/small rock road (with a lot of elevation changes) to maintain. Looking for suggestions/advice as to the best implement to get the job done. I need to re-grade 4-8 times a year depending upon rainfall. I'm currently using a pull-behind DR grader which gets the job done but it takes a while, requires many passes, and has no mechanism for crowning or sloping the road.

I did my 1000 foot driveway on the weekend. Tired of the many passes, mostly because I can't stand a windrow of any kind, I tried a new approach.

Pulled Harley Rake with S tines slightly engaged to stir up some material, followed by an upside down chain harrow behind the Harley.

Then dragged a ten foot length of light chain link fence behind my E-Gator which was quick, fun and easy to make everything picture perfect.

EDIT. For what it's worth. Any powered implement (like a Harley) will reduce your passes by many times. Think of it as an Electric Planer VS a hand one.

Im using the grader attachment, it will tilt to crown and once done pull a harrow upside down over it with the side by side

Will cost $$$'s but rake with drop down grader blade...2for 1.

If that's the toolcat with the 3pt on the back, one of those "land plane's" is hard to beat. And 4-8 times a year, you'll love it.

I like that, BUT to work right, it would have to be the exact width of your road.

And how does it behave when it encounters larger stones? Product videos always show stuff being used under ideal conditions for the machine in question.
