RK55
Hi All,

We have been doing some bush-hogging. The fields had a lot of straw like plants and they put out a lot of dust and pieces of plant.

The RK55 overheated. Checked the radiator and found the screen filters were clogged. Cooled it down, drove over to the hose and cleaned off the filters. There does appear to be any obstructions to airflow but the overheating continues. The tractor will run about 20 minutes or so before the overheat light comes on.

Anyone had this problem? Ideas?

Coolant level? Is the radiator REALLY clean? Do you have a radiator genie?

The fan on these units draw a ton of air thru the rads normally. I found when I mow the rad gets stuffed with bugs, debris very quickly. There is a condenser for my AC in front of the radiator ,and behind that is very hard to clean out properly. I end up using my gas blower and a garden hose to clean mine out after I mow for the day everytime.
