Never in my years have I seen things so upside down. Thank goodness I bought my tractor when I did. Otherwise I most likely couldnt afford to buy now, if you could find one.
Letās hope things do not become worse than we have seen in the past 18 months from Covid complications. We have all had negative experience from Covid times. Now we need to work ourselves back some normal not sure what that is but we need to get to it soon. Looks like Xmas might be lean season on gifts based on current supply issues. May be year of good old family joy of being together without illness. I would be grateful for calmness and peace for all of us, we need it.Never in my years have I seen things so upside down. That was actually one of my decision points on ordering an RK37HC - if the go belly up I can hopefully still get parts and service from TYM. But they have been around 4 years so I think they may be here to stay a while. The TYM version of this tractor has gone up 3 grand in the last two years. Not bad considering a comparable John Deere would cost 18,000 more. I am leary of the parts availability but the savings are hard to overlook.

I wouldn't count on TYM doing anything for a RK customer. Research some lf the Cabelas tractor threads. That was actually one of my decision points on ordering an RK37HC - if the go belly up I can hopefully still get parts and service from TYM. Why buy a tractor brand where you are worried that the company might go belly up?That was actually one of my decision points on ordering an RK37HC - if they go belly up I can hopefully still get parts and service from TYM. Good thing I got a $10,000 raise this year with another one coming next year!An RK 55 has gone up $5K since it was introduced? That is freaking ridiculous.
The price of steel sky-rocketed 3 years ago due to tariffs, and hasnāt decreased since. The value of U.S. dollar has tanked due to current policies of large amounts of deficit spending.
Umm. Remember the steel tariffs? And $1 gas had nothing to do with government policies; it was due to over supply and weak demand during the peak of the Covid shutdown.Which previous policies ? Surely not the ones that had gas at 1.oo a gal and food prices lower than ever. People actually got there lazy asses out of bed and went to work.
Maybe you don't go to the grocery store, lumber yard or check out prices of tractors. Real world experience and common sense shows that a dollar will only buy about 70% of what it would a couple of years ago.Over the past decade or so the Us dollar has pretty much held its own.

Sorry, misunderstanding. Yes, prices are up. I should have said "the value of the dollar against foreign currencies.." Stuff costs more, but it's not, in general, a result of dollar vs. foreign currencies, which is really quite remarkable because of the huge deficit spending increases over the past five years.Maybe you don't go to the grocery store, lumber yard or check out prices of tractors. One clear example is the insane run-up of lumber prices. That's mostly an in internal situation and has little or nothing to do with dollar vs. Euro, Yen, whatever..
So for posterity I made a table of prices for RK tractors with loader. The nice thing is they the publish the prices up front. No haggle or dealer "Market adjusttment" like I see on trucks. Come back here next year to see the change.

Same around here. I've been by 3 RKs recently and they have between 0-2 tractors on the lot.Not sure about other areas but the RK's are still selling here in central FL. A few weeks back I was at RK getting horse feed and there wasn't a single RK55 or 37 on the lot. I asked the tractor guy that I deal with and he said that he had several on order some of which were already spoken for but he was having an issue getting them. Yesterday I was back there and there were 4 RK37's on the lot and 3 had sold signs on them. Didn't see any RK55's so not sure if they didn't get any or if they had already been purchased. At least sales seem to be going well around here. Glad to see that.
