I was welding expanded steel on my RK55HC's grill guard today and took a close look at the 3rd function valve. Not receiving documentation about it from RK and not having a 3rd function before, I was wondering what this adjustment knob does...anyone mess with it yet?

Thanks in advance.

Good ? I have a different brand( WR Long ) but the same knob. Just below the silver hose fitting that goes upward. Maybe today we both learn something. I would guess some sort of flow or pressure adjustment.

It's just a nut to hold the Solenoid in place. If you take it off, you can also pull the solenoid out.

They do it that way so you can easily index the solenoid for wire routing.

The "knob" is basically a nut that hold the coil for the solenoid in place. You will want to keep it snug to hold the coil of the solenoid on the spool shaft. The only time you would mess with it is if you need to change the coil out.
