I have a Kioti DK40 and I am looking for a single tine ripper, sub soiler, or middle buster. My tiller only goes down about 6 to 8 inches, so I would like one of the above listed tools to tear up the ground under our garden beds. We have sandy loam soil with no rocks. Anyone with first hand knowledge or suggestions let me know.

I use the middle buster. A subsoiler (single tine ripper) is great busting up stuff down deep so you get the most benefit from rains and drainage but the middle buster moves the most dirt. I used one for years before I bought a tiller. Remember, the middlebuster won't go much deeper than the tiller so I use it to initially break the ground before I disc or till.
