Ridge Vent - Sky Light

Guys a friend of mine had a pole barn built and he had a Ridge Cap that was a skylight - Any idea where to get that?

I don't want a regular skylight as I think they are apt to leak but if it was on the ridge, I think it'd be unlikely to leak.

I did a google search and didn'c come up with anything

Lumberyards that sell metal roofing should have access to the polycarb ridgelites. Also check with pole building dealers. I'm not sure large chain homecenters will know anything about them. If you cannot locate them, pm me and I'll try to get you a contact in your region.

Just searched translucent ridge cap, found Catalog page and others.
Barns in New England tend toward cupolas for light & ventilation. Should work in Fl as well. MikeD74T

Be sure to check the warrantee on them. Allot of those translucent panels only have a five year warrentee for a reason. They break down fairly quckly and start to leak. The free light is a nice thing, but in the end, I wouldn't put one on my roof.
