i am looking for information on how to plumb my hydraulics on a John Deere 4105 to allow me to run a front mounted hydraulic brush cutter

will just adding a check valve at the hydraulic motor between the supply and return lines to make a continues loop work ?

O guess the question I have is where are you planning to plumb on the tractor? The remotes?

Depending on the capacity of the remote system and the need for the mower you can use the remote valves. Be sure you have the fluid running the correct direction, so the mower does not run backwards. My guess is the remote system will not be sufficient to run the mower as desired. Also using the tractor's hyds to run the mower may require a cooler to be installed to prevent overheating the oil.

They do make a self contained hyd oil pump to power such using the pto power of the tractor. I use a pto powered self contained unit for my boom mower. I found old mower and was able to use it only needing new pump and hoses.

Not suggesting this unit as all, but to give you an example of self contained system. Power Pack Hydraulic Power Unit

whats your on/off control for the mower? Loader valve, rear remote, or ?

IS 9 gallons a minute going to be enough volume to effectively run mower... IF not you are going to need PTO pump/system...

i have installed an Arlillian 3rd function kit for my grapple, and i have been seeing loader mounted brush cutters and was hoping this is something i could do.
i have an old pto brush cutter im wanting to convert if possible.
