He had his JD 4044 with 85 hrs for sale and I would have bought it, except my wife misread the text from the seller. He said he bought it in 2022 for $33K. That's where my wife stopped reading and she told me he wanted $33K, so I declined.

Had she read further down the text, she would have seen he was asking $22K, which I gladly would have paid.

Yes. Really bad screw up. Even though our Kubota L3800 is a similar HP, it's a weakling compared to the capabilities of the JD. I would have done the few backhoe projects I need done with the L3800, then sold it.

Shame you where not closer to Georgia. But I don't know the difference between a 4044 and a 5045.
