Restore ym 2210 problem

Part #724450-11702. Sorry, don't know where you might get a cheap used one.

Good!! It's the Head and not the Block. We hope so. The 195/2000Red/240 uses a Fred.# HG.-2000 which replaces 124763-01331. Your ym2210 uses a Fred.# HG-2000 and replaces 124763-01330. Which is probly the same HG. That means IMO. a 195/2000/240 is the same Head as your 2210. So that should make it fairly easy to find one. Something to check into!

I think it's the same head as YM2000 (which was also sold in USA with name YM240). But verify this before spending any money! There could be early/late versions, for example. YM2000 was very popular, so today there may be more of them in scrap yards.

And I think we've read here that a YM2000 engine (complete) is a bolt-in replacement into YM2210. The rated horsepower is 10% less, but the engines are nearly identical so this difference should not be significant in actual use.

These are just ideas to start research!

yes the head is the same for 2210 and 2000, Aaron have this head only new, before buy a new head i try to find a used in good condition!

Buy the head "new" would be expensive.
Acquista la testa "nuova" sarebbe costoso.

Buy the head "used" would be a risk from outside Italy. You would need a lengthy time warranty of 90 days minimum and shipping insurance.

Oh this is in Italy!!! i was going to say it would be best to buy a ym2000 and part it out taking the head as you need and sell the rest, the head would probably end up free.

Purchase a used YM2000. Take the head and other good parts. Sell the YM2000 parts to other people.

Yea i dont know any language other than english. in high school i could form very crude sentences in french and had a wide vocabulary of basic every day things but i have forgotten almost all of that today

I would try Vietnam. From the Horror stories we use to hear. It was told they get all the old salvage parts tractors from Japan and make Frienkenmar Tractors.

For our Italian friend: A joke that is often repeated here. Frankenstein's monster + Yanmar = FrankensteinMar = a tractor assembled from used parts that came from several different tractors, maybe even different brands of tractor. Then painted to look like factory-new. Sometimes advertised as 'new'. Impossible to repair, because nobody knows what parts were included.

Broken Tractor says they have a 2210 that they are salvaging May have a head. I would look for boats over there. I don't know if they are the same.

I've had high school Italian and been to Italy twice in 2013. Also married to an Italian wife. :2cents: I can read Italian easier than speaking. Also, Italian newspapers are easy for the business and finacial sections. Local regional news is difficult because wording is reflected differently or a regional word or saying is used. As for spelling the words, yes I cheat with the translators. However, if I didn't know the term "head" in our thread here, I would have found him a goat's head using the translators direct meaning. hehe. Once you know the language, the translator really helps with spelling. Not so much the meanings or words to define things. The translators can be totally wrong too. Spelling is very important in Italian. If I used the word "sono" or "sonno" I could mean "a group of people doing somthing" or "a person sleeping."

Are they saying the heads for their YM1700, 2000, 2210 and 240 are all gone? All will work, alsoYm195
