Disc Harrow Restoration Tips

Any recommendations where to find parts for a functional restoration? Bearings, disc pans. I’d also welcome tips on rust removal. Is this a job for sand blasting?

Model MF 21. It looks like the frame rust is surface only. It was buried in the woods for 20 years. Manufactured in Detroit, probably in 50’s.

Thank you. I wasn’t aware of Agri Supply. They do seem to carry numerous parts for disc harrows.

I'd use it first to see if everything works. They are very simple.
Bearings and races from any bearing shop. They just need numbers off the bearings.

To restore it dis-assemble and drop it off to a sandblaster. if you want you could even have them prime it for you.

If you get ready for a road trip, run up I-75 to Valdosta to that Agri-Supply and give yourself plenty of time to shop, if you have never been in one you are in for a treat, you will find the disc parts section, it's an area about the size of a baseball diamond.
