I'm not interested in having a cab because of the cost and I'd really hate to break the glass while out in the woods. If I were doing more running up and down rows in the fields a cab would be nice though.

I did go by the dealer last night and looked over the TYM and the Kioti. I liked the features and weight on the Kioti, thought the TYM would be a vast improvement over what I currently have.

The Kioti had the Telescopic Link ends and 3Pt could be raised and lowered from behind the tractor, which would make attaching the back blade and the winch soooooo much easier.

Eric 1973, the telescoping ends and being able to adjust height while changing attachments from ground does make it easier.A nice feature that I have not had on other tractors.Probably on alot of the newer stuff.

I'd go for the DK40se for logging myself. More ground clearance than the 35 and a much stronger loader. Haven't priced these recently but when I got mine it was only about $1200 more as I recall. The 45 and 50 are identical to the 40 except for engine bore. I believe Kioti charges way too much for drilling a different size hole in the same block. The HP range is 41-44-?49 so not that much extra umph for the premium. Most people use six foot implements which all of them run effectively.

I'd love a cab but not if I were logging.

Lots to read on grapples here. You don't really need to spend more than $1000 plus the cost of hoses and quick connects to run it from the rear remotes.

I should try and get a price for the DK40SE HST, I would really like to get the heavier FEL and I agree that it would probably be the best bang for the buck between the 40 and 50 HP models.
