Request for 2 new forums

Unsure to post here or direct to a moderator? I'm assuming the powers that be check this regularly.

Some suggestions for 2 new forums:

1. A farm/equipment show forum....members can post locations/dates for other members benefit. Perhaps one in each locale?

2. "New" Yanmar forum. Yanmar split from Cub Cadet in 2011, and is a separate brand. The Yanmar forum here is 95% older yanmars models. The Cub Yanmar forum is for the Cub Yanmars from 2008-2011. Check the posts and responses in the current Yanmar forum.

Thought, on #1, one could just use the existing regional forums and ask the mods to make a thread for the show a sticky...

Sorry Mate, that wouldn't work for all of the international members outside of the US & Canada.

There are annual shows, 'field days', plow matches, etc... all over the rest of the world too. (sorry if that sounds snarky)

I'd vote for a 'Show Forum'. People could even report back after attending. Heck, the various Shows could provide links to TBN & TBN would benefit from the advertising. Crikey, I reckon that the #1 way people find TBN now is via Googling something.

The Yanmar organization has been an issue since you have older Yanmar, grey market Yanmar, Cub Cadet Yanmar, and now NEW Yanmar. I'll take a look at the activity in the existing sections and see about adding a new forum for the new Yanmar equipment.

I am also in favor of something, whatever it is, that can easily get our attention to let us know when an event is happening in our area or region.

Thanks for considering the farm show forum. I'm headed to a local Grange Fair today, and will take pictures...
If everyone posts pics of the events they go to, this could be a very popular area.

btw, totally off topic, but kudos to Muhammad for getting some serious advertisers on the site now. Used to be only little tractor related stuff, now we have Verizon on banner ads. Hope that bodes well for the site.
