I have a cc7205 that needs new front tires. They currently have Ag tires all the way around and I intend to replace the worn front with turf since I do very little tractor work in the field. It is mostly on pavement or gravel.

I need to remove the wheels and take to the COOP so they can install the replacements. I can lift the tractor with the bucket to access the wheels but I can find no information on where to support the front end with jack stands or even where to jack it up if I didn't have a bucket. I have the owners manual and a set of service manuals from the previous owner.

Any info would be appreciated.

TIA

Can't you put the jack stands on each side of the axle?

Is this your tractor? or similar?

Once you lift the tractor I'm sure you can prop up both transfer cases and be safe/solid. Almost positive the front axle pivots up/down so it's more safe to jack stand or block up both sides of the axle.

If you still in doubt take a pic of the front and someone here will paint in the proper place to brace up.

In my copy of the 7000 service manual it shows the axle being supported on a jack stand right at the end of the housing.
