Nice outfit for sure. Enjoy! The wicked grapple is wicked good. Like their equipment. Few add front guard protection for grapple work before using the grapple. Most after some damage. Sticks are sneaky. Rarely see the one that gets you.

Agreed. My L3901 got the headlights busted out a couple of weeks before it was destroyed in a fire. I fully intend to have the MX grill guard infilled at a local fab shop.

Check your hydraulic pressure. It should be around 2630 PSI. The dealer delivered my MX5800 with it set at 2400. When I complained, they boosted it 10% which made a big difference in the lift capacity of the LA1065. It also made a noticeable improvement in the performance of the BH92 as well.

I know of some who boost the pressure to 2800 but I don't recommend going that high. Perhaps others will post their opinions.

I guess I should at least check the pressure. Got a link to a proper pressure gauge? Link to procedure?

Is that an ammo box you mounted to the side of the BH subframe? I laughed when I saw the Kubota 'toolbox' relocated there. I figure I'll find something a little more sturdy to mount in that location.

Yes. The traditional 50 cal ammo can painted orange. Tool box should be placed there regardless of BH or not in my opinion.

I am one of those that learned the hard way that I need a grill guard. Used my last tractor with a grapple and no grill guard for over ten years with no damage. Bought a new tractor and damaged the hood and mesh grill screen within a year.

I have a cracked grill too. I have flat bar and expanded metal to weld on too. Just haven't done it yet. Maybe in a month or two.

Your better off with this set you should have a higher psi gauge To select the correct pressure range for a gauge, where there is dynamic pressure with potential of pulses and surges, choose a full-scale pressure where the operating pressure occurs in the middle half (50 to 75 percent) of the scale to allow for pressure swings because of pulsation and pressure spikes in the system...Hydraulic Tools - BoltOnHooks LLC

Well, that's nice, but for 1 and done setting relief pressure, I'm sure the simpler solution is fine. I'm not even going to bother with the hose.

140 hours on my MX6000 over the last 6 months. Much of it grapple work while reclaiming fields. You'll love the tractor and it is surprisingly nimble in spite of the larger foot print. It's well planted...good balance of power, weight and size.

I have the ROPS by choice, it was not a cost decision. Everything I'm doing with the tractor is because I want to be doing it, rather than "have" to be doing it. I prefer being outside and feel more "in touch" with the work being done with the open station.

If not too late, add the 3rd Function for the grapple now, plus the 3 remotes.

Easier than adding them after the fact.

Also noted that you are tall. I found it simple to add a couple of 2 inch x 3 inch x 1/4 inch aluminum rectangle tubes to raise the seat 2 inches, helping to make it even more comfortable to operate.

Yep... did the same here, with 2x2 stock. Works like a charm.

The dealer filled my rear tires. I assume that's why this tractor beats the tar out of me just driving across my lawn. I can't even imagine what it would be like in a rough pasture. I've even browsed online for an air ride seat...

No clue. I don't find my MX4800 terribly harsh. Certainly not plush, but anything with no suspension isn't. My rears are filled with methanol if I recall correctly.

Ever check the tire pressures?
