I remember when i was restoring my 8n in the winter, back in ?? 2000/2001 .. I had a broke finger... Made it rough to sand with 1 hand.. or use power tools.. and evrything I did bumped that big splint...

Oh come on! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif Seems like a good project to keep you from going strir-crazy with that broken wrist and all. Seriously though, so sorry to hear and hope for a speedy recovery.

What about the very first light (top) in your original post. That one looked pretty high-tech! I've thought the very same as you - that NH maybe went on the cheap or something in not including lights here and I think it was just last week or so I was looking under the fenders for how I would run the wires. I'm not overly concerned about that however, and probably wouldn't go so far as to put them in pipe, etc, as my old Ford 1720 had fender-mounted lights and Ford just had the wires hanging under there before going into the main harness, and they never pulled loose.
