purchased a tractor with concrete splatter and residue all over the bucket, some parts of the sheet metal, and even a blob on the windshield.

The concrete is 1-2 years old.

Do "safe" concrete dissolvers actually work? I see a lot of mixed reviews. Or should I skip right to muriatic acid and deal with the paint as required?

It will eventually wear off the FEL bucket, don't sweat it.

Before I retired the engineering company I worked for did material testing. We cleaned the testing equipment with vinegar but you had to soak it to get results. Someone got concrete splatters on the side of one of our pickups down low. Nothing I tried would take it off so I ended up carefully scraping it off with a screw driver.

At time I would be at a contractors concrete plant and would see them spraying stuff on the concrete trucks to clean them but I don’t know what it was. Unless it’s really bugging I’d leave it alone.

Us farmers call it the tractors work clothes.

Even if you could get the concrete off without any damage, it will still leave a spot there. Concrete stains paint.

"Tractors work clothes", I like that one.
Wear it like a badge of honor.

Got impatient.

I ended up getting some stuff from the local concrete accessory\tools distributer called Concrete Lift off, it's a relabelled version of the stuff shown.

I put a small amount of this stuff in the corner of the bucket, it sat on the paint like water, but sizzled over the concrete. looks like it works, or maybe I'll have a gapping hole in my bucket in the morning 😋

It's probably some type of a weak acid solution.

I like those turf tires. That's an expensive option I was lucky enough to get OEM on one of our small tractors - about the size of yours. The increase in stability using the FEL was awesome. Traction was just as good as any other tire on a light tractor except in powder snow and slick mud. For both of those we used a set of light chains.

The tires are badly sun damage so I'm not sure if they will survive much longer.

Two years ago I barrowed the tractor and moved about a triaxle worth of dirt. No issues. I was surprised how good the traction was.

The turfs slip enough to protect the drive train. That's an unsung advantage.
And already having the wide rims is half the cost.

We used this at work after it was recommended by our redi-mix concrete vendor. They use it on their trucks, but don't sell the stuff. There is a distributer within a mile of the shop. It really works well and doesn't damage paint.

This is timely, I noticed concrete spatters all over one of my new garage doors last year after having some work done and have been trying different things to get it off. The Larry, Darrel and Darrel of concrete work were not very careful it appears but when that is all you can get living out in the sticks... I guess you learn to deal with it.

Wonder if it will remove self lever from a concrete sidewalk?
