Red-Neck Mailbox ???

I want one of those. Not a fan of bicyclists flooding here from the big city on weekends.

I think the owner felt the same way. There is a bike trail adjacent to his property. He made the box himself out of sheet metal and plaster. It's long gone now.

I had to replace my mailbox and post. I went with a standard treated lumber stand from Menard's and regular sized box. Boring, I know... I DID put a reflector on it, if that counts for something. If an incoming package doesn't fit, my rural carrier brings it up to the house/porch.

Looking at some of the mailboxes posted above, it's obvious that some people's imaginations are surpassed only by their talent.
