Ok so finally figured out the Wiring to get the starter to activate the motor with the key switch which has been an issue for me. Now that I have that there is one red wire that I do not know where it goes if anybody can help. A couple pictures of what I’m talking about.

My guess is that the red wire hanging in the air hooks onto the lead from the battery to the starter solenoid. And if you trace the floating red wire back, it goes to the hot discharge from the alternator.
It is a frequently used wiring design to run from the alternator output to the starter, and then from there to the battery.
