Mahindra 3616 Starter Relay Issue

I've seen various communications regarding an issue that some of the Mahindra models seem to have. When I go to start the tractor, sometimes I get a single click, and then nothing. I noticed that if I worked the clutch up and down, and kept turning the key, after several tries the starter would engage and the tractor would fire up. I believed the issue to be a faulty clutch safety switch. I replaced it and that did not resolve the problem. From my online research, I now believe the issue to be a faulty starter relay. However, I have been unsuccessful in finding this relay. I've searched the darn tractor inside and out, but can not figure out where this relay would be. Has anyone out there had to find this relay, and if so, could you please tell me where they hid it? I'd appreciate any info/advice that any of y'all might have.

Most likely under the instrument cluster. You might look to see how that is secured and if it can be removed from the top.

I pulled the dash apart the other day and and didn't see anything that I would have considered to be a relay, but maybe I didn't pay close enough attention. Hopefully I'll have time today to take another look. Thank you for your input.

Your tractor might not have a starter relay. This thread describes adding one to fix the hard start problem.
