Red light

I have a 2003 JD 5320 with cab To the right of the control panel for heat and AC there is a red light I found that the bulb was burnt out but still can not find anything in the manual to say what this light does. Is it to let you know that the heater is on? The bulb is a GE 169 real small and it plugs into a socket that is located behind this red lens. Any help? Now that you have replaced the light and it "lights up", can you now tell what causes it to come on? Try the heater.

Thanks all for replying, the light is a red light and when you turn your headlight switch on, this light shines down on your controls for night operations. Wow! what do you think they will do next?

Maybe they'll forget the light, and leave you in the dark ??
