Greetings;

While surfing the net looking for information on loaders I ran across this GIF of an ingenious idea for a rear weight. I'm not sure what size the image will appear as, but basically this rear weight appears to be a cast block of concrete with the hardware for a 3 point hitch connection hardware imbedded in it. Wouldn't take much to make a plywood frame and tie in the components to rebar. Concrete ranges in weight from about 90lbs to 150 bls per cubic foot depending on the mix.

Thats a good idea. I suppose you would have to weld together the pins internally to keep it from cracking apart or pulling out after curing.

I have seen guys use oil drums of various sizes filled with sand or gravel and the 3 point connections too... the block seems easier to connect and smaller though..
