I have been searching for the "perfect" rear view mirror

I want to mount it on my left FEL post (I think)

I searched through NAPAs web site last night, didnt find anything I liked, so I stopped in at the Fort Wayne main store that is attached to the distribution center there.
They had a small ATV mirror, I wasnt very impressed, so the counter guy and me started looking through catalogs, and I found one round one with a heated mirror in it, it was convex though, and plus he couldnt pull up a price for it so he assumed its not available. It said it was for a FreightLiner.

I may go to the local truck stop tomorrow.

I thought a heated mirror would be awesome during snow clearing

Anyone have the perfect mirror?

I have been looking for the same thing. I did see some medium size ones that attach to the upper loader arms. Came in a pair and they were like $60. I didn't think they would work for me as I have a cab. I mounted a small rubber gooseneck convex on the cab handle. It is too small for my needs and I cant seem to find anything else yet.

I wouldn't say its perfect, but it works for me. I attached an old motorcycle mirror I had laying around.

A few months ago I was looking around for a couple of side mirrors for my little cab and also was having a hard time finding anything close to useful. Then I came across a left and right hand mirror from eTrailer that are made for attaching to the round tube stock of an ATV type vehicle. But all I had to do was not use the clamp for the tube and just drill the appropriate size hole, 3/8 I think, to mount them. Here is a link for the left side one: CIPA UTV Adjustable Side Mirror - Black - Left Hand CIPA Mirrors CMM37. They were constructed better than I thought for the price which was under $15. They are not heated but the 5 3/8 by 6 1/2 inch size mirror and mounting stalk can be rotated to suite your preference.

I've used a large motorcycle mirror and it works well. Holds up to the vibration.

I constructed two "arms" that form an angle for stability and to protect the mirror from branches. Yes, I snowplow my woods

Wetstuff had a post where he installed one, looked really good, I put them on both sides mounted with a cj jeep mount on my loader also, they work great. The jeep glass broke and I then put regular swivel mount old truck mirrors on the jeep mounts.. John

Hope this isn't a hyjack, but has anyone put mirrors on the FEL so that you can see the area in front of the FEL when it is lowered? With safety shut-off, you can't stand up to see exactly where the lip is.

I put a higher price mirror on my Teryx...and it blew off while towing. Recently I replaced it with a Tusk UTV Mirror, from Rocky Mountain ATV. The price is deceiving. It is a very solid built mirror. Far better than the other one. I don't currently have a tractor, but I did have a M7040, and I still had it, one of these mirrors would be on it. The mount is solid no vibration.
