They're 6 ply, and believe it, the muddy areas are where (IMHO) they excell. Possibly do to the large area of ground contact. Coupled w/ HST it is possible to load engine before losing traction......just DON'T drive out on top of deep snow!!Plow your way thru.

I wonder if there are differences in turf tires that might account for the different user experiences? I know that there are huge differences in the performance of different car tires. I see lots of different turf tire patterns. Maybe there are different rubbers. Also tires get less grippy as they age and the rubber hardens. We know that different tractor set-ups can make a difference in traction. Some people swear by turfs for everything they do.
