Re: PT Skid Steer Adapter

Ok, So I've been skimming through the PT threads and posts on the Slope Mowers and I came across a Skid Steer Adapter in one of Charlie Iliff's threads. I really like that adapter, I think it would be very useful for us. So I did some research and found that you can possibly use a 90" Bobcat mower on the front of an 1850 or a 72" on an 1845 and other Bobcat attachments. You tell me.
Mower Attachment Specifications - Bobcat Company
The Hyd flow and mower weights are right. I think I may have found a solution to our Finish Mower situation (and I live only a 45min drive from a Bobcat dealer)
You guys tell me what you think.

BTW: Charlie, I think I'll have to steal your WR Long Bucket attachment idea.

(Whoops I'm jumping ahead again with this. We haven't even bought the tractor yet. Sorry I get excited easy by this stuff :D)

Re: PT Skid Steer Adapter

Lackender Fabrication makes a skidsteer adapter for a PT, unless I'm mistaken..

Be aware that if using hydraulic-powered implements, then the Power Trac's PTO doesn't typically put out the flow or PSI that a skidsteer does. Be careful and compare specs..

Ok I'll look into it.

Re: PT Skid Steer Adapter

Well I jst checked some of the specs on Bobcat loaders. The Larger Framed machines have 3300 psi hydraulics. But the Toolcat has an 18 GPM flow @ 3000 psi, which is actually the machine a Mower is ment for. Close psi but still wrong (1850 has 18 GPM @ 3,200 psi).
Could it be done?

I would think it is fine - worse care put in a 3000 psi bypass but i find it hard to believe 200 psi makes a difference.
