Toe in on a M7060. Purchased on 2017. I'm getting some playing in steering on street driving in high range. I'm at 2000 hours. Manual recommends toe in adjustment. Do I just turn front wheels as straight forward as I can visually ? Then what points do I use for accurate measurements ? Do I adjust both sides tie rods ? Appreciate any help.

Your OP manual also tells you HOW to make any adjustments. When I check the toe-in/toe-out, it takes two people. Measure across the tractor. Distance across from front of front rims vs distance across from rear of front rims.

Thank you Oosik, I referred to op manual gives me tolarance, tells me to measure center of tire to center of tire. But it seems to me that I shouldn't just take out the difference from one side only or am I wrong ? I've be wrong many times before. lol. Manual does not give details how much to adjust on each side. Just a .008" to whatever. I don't remember the other dimension.

You must toe each side equally. I suspect your tie rods are shot instead, If they rotate (end) easily, time to replace.

Thank you 5030, really appreciate the info. Tie rods are good and solid. I will give it a go.

No matter how it plays, always make sure the inner joint boots are intact and grease tight. The inner joint, because it's a radial joint is about 5 times as expensive as the tie rod ends and is only a dealer item.
