I was driving thru Orlando traffic this week, going from a delivery point to a pick up point and saw a Kubota tractor on a flatbed trailer going the other way. Sides were about 8" and the tailgate was a ramp type. Since traffic was going about 2mph, I had plenty of time to notice that it had no straps, chains, or even tie-wire holding it down. Maybe they had welded the tires to the deck with superglue but other than that, not a thing holding it down. A quick stop and that tractor would slide about 10' before coming to rest in the back of the pickup pulling it. Another Darwin candidate in the making...
