Radiator repair

/ Radiator repair #21
I put a hole in the bottom of my radiator, perhaps the size of a quarter. New from LS is $517.35 plus tax. Would it be possible to fix it somehow, maybe fiber glass? Any suggestion?

Edit: This is not the plastic overflow bottle, it the bottom of tha radiator and will be under pressure. Thanks.

Your LS G3038H current production tractor deserves a new OEM radiator.

Thanks for all the replies. I left it at the radiator repair shop so the owner could try to match it. A friend told me there is only 15 lbs of pressure in a radiator, does anyone know?

I told the shop that it just needs to be close, I’ll make it work.

Generally even a bit less, like 10-12 PSI depending on brands.
Most repairs were done with lead based solder on older rads.
Many newer designs use lots of plastic for header tanks so repairing is a dying trade.
