I have a JD 425 and recently acquired a 40 loader. I usually post questions on sites that cater more to these size mowers/tractors, but I think this one is best answered here. I'm looking to convert the bucket / mount to a design that is easier to attach and detach so I can make other attachments (i.e. forks) and switch between them faster.

Can someone post some pictures of how the buckets on the larger loaders (200CX, 300CX, etc) attach so I can get some ideas of how to make my mounts?

Thanks!

Welcome to TBN:D

Here is a post where I built a FEL snowplow, it shows the hooks and pins for the JD Quick Attach.

And here are some pics of the forks I built:

Hope this help some.

Here are 4 pictures of my 300CX FEL. First 2 cover the bucket's upper holder and lower locating pin. The second 2 show the FEL lifting bracket that mates with the upper holder, and a shot of the locating pin fully locked into position. Hope this helps you out.

Please - no snotty comments on the poort chain hook welding job.....I've already been down that path with a number of experts.
